Lesson planner

Lesson planner generates structured lesson plans in two steps. First you generate learning objectives, then you customize them and generate the complete plan.

Step 1 - Generate Learning Objectives

  1. Go to Lesson planner (/teacher/lesson-planner)
  2. Select an active teaching goal
  3. Choose an age range
  4. Add a note about the lesson topic, with speech-to-text available
  5. Click Generate objectives

The AI returns learning objectives, key topics, estimated duration, and difficulty level.

Step 2 - Customize and Generate the Plan

  • Review and edit the objectives
  • Add or remove key topics
  • Set the lesson duration
  • Choose the lesson type
  • Click Generate lesson plan

Step 3 - Edit, Save, and Export

  • Edit the generated plan in the built-in editor
  • Save the plan to your Lesson planner history
  • Rename or delete saved plans from the history sidebar
  • Download the plan as a DOCX file for printing or sharing

Personalization

Lesson planner uses your saved Lesson planner requirements, document sources, and active teaching goals. Having an active teaching goal selected makes the objectives and plan more specific to your current curriculum focus. Each generation step uses one AI request.
