How to use this

This is a ready-made starting point your school can adapt and add to its own enrollment forms, privacy notices, or consent paperwork. It is not legal advice — review and adjust it with your own data protection officer or legal counsel so it fits how your school operates and the rules that apply to you.

Under data protection law your school, not TeachersFlow, is the data controllerfor your students' data. TeachersFlow acts as your processor and handles that data only on your instructions, as set out in our Data Processing Agreement. Replace anything in square brackets with your own details before you share it.

Notice for parents and guardians

Copy the text below into your own materials.

[School name] uses TeachersFlow, an online platform that helps our teachers prepare lessons, create and grade assessments, run classroom activities, and follow each student's learning progress.

To do this, the platform stores some information about your child — such as their name, class and subjects, their work and answers, grades and assessments, and teacher notes. [School name] decides what information is entered and why. TeachersFlow processes it only on our instructions; it does not sell personal data, and does not use student data for advertising or to train AI models.
