This Cookie Policy explains how TeachersFlow uses cookies and similar technologies on teachersflow.com and app.teachersflow.com. It is part of our Privacy Policy.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage, let a site remember information between visits. We use both to keep the Service working and to understand how it is used.

3. Categories we use

  • Necessary — required to run the Service: keeping you signed in, maintaining your session, security, and remembering your cookie choices. These are always on and cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics — Google Analytics and PostHog (EU-hosted), used to understand how visitors and teachers use the Service so we can improve it. PostHog also records masked session replays on which all text and images are hidden, so no teacher or student content is captured. These run only with your consent.
  • Advertising — not currently used. We do not run advertising. If we add advertising cookies in the future, they will run only with your consent and this policy will be updated first.

4. Consent and managing cookies

When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept all cookies or open Settings to choose which categories to allow. In regions where consent is required, analytics and advertising storage start denied by default and are updated based on your choice. Your preferences are saved on your device in a first-party cookie covering both teachersflow.com and app.teachersflow.com, so your answer applies across the whole Service and you are asked only once. You can change it at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in our footer, or in the app under Account settings → Data Compliance.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the Service from working.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new last updated date.
