Managing Teachers

Manage teacher access from the Teachers page (/org/teachers).

How Teacher Access Works

Teachers can only sign up under your organization if their email address is on your linked emails list. Adding an email allows that person to create an organization teacher account. Removing an email prevents sign-in until it is re-added.

Email addresses are matched in lowercase, so capitalization does not matter.

Adding a Teacher Email

  1. Enter the teacher's email address
  2. Click Add address

The email appears as pending until the teacher signs up. Once they create their account, the status changes to registered.

Removing a Teacher Email

Click the delete icon next to an email and confirm. If the teacher has an active account, they lose access to the platform. Their account is scheduled for deletion unless access is restored.

Assigning Classes

Once a teacher is registered, assign classes from the Teachers page. Select which organization classes the teacher can access.

Subject-Level Access

For each assigned class, you can control which subjects the teacher can see and use. This matters because records and AI context are filtered by subject.

Use subject-level access when:

  • Multiple teachers share one class but teach different subjects
  • A specialist should see only their subject area
  • You want an org teacher to create goals or activities only for assigned subjects

Subject names are used for filtering, so avoid deleting and re-adding a subject just to rename it. Use the available subject editing controls where possible.

What Organization Teachers Can and Cannot Do

Organization teachers can use Test grader, Assessment generator, AI personalization, Teaching goals, Lesson planner, Teaching materials, Activities, and Flowee. They can view assigned classes and students.

Organization teachers cannot create, rename, delete, or modify classes or students. Class structure, student lists, and teacher assignments are controlled by the organization admin.
