Choosing a Plan

Individual teachers choose from Free, Advanced, or Pro. Organization accounts use separate scalable billing - see Organization Billing.

All individual plans include the same app features. The difference is usage capacity, not feature access.

AI Requests

An AI request is used when TeachersFlow asks AI to generate, grade, analyze, or respond.

Common request-using actions include:

  • Grading a test
  • Generating an assessment
  • Sending a message in the assessment chat
  • Generating lesson objectives
  • Generating a full lesson plan
  • Sending a Flowee message
  • Generating activity content with AI
  • Generating AI notes for activity submissions
  • Processing document sources

Manual actions do not use AI requests. Creating groups, adding students, creating folders, writing teaching materials manually, saving results, editing records, and using the app navigation do not use requests.

Activity Limits

The activity limit counts activities you create in a month. It does not count how many students participate.

Activity result notes can use different request amounts depending on activity type and number of students or teams. The app shows request usage context before generating notes.

Student Limits

The student limit is the total number of student profiles across all groups. It is not a per-group limit.

Document source limit

Document sources use a shared safety limit of 1,000,000 words across all plans. This is separate from the public pricing cards, which focus on requests, activities, students, and support.

Free Plan Reset

The free plan resets on a rolling monthly cycle starting from your account creation date. Requests and activity counts reset automatically. The reset date is shown in Account Settings.

Upgrading or Downgrading

Go to Account Settings -> Billing to change plans. Upgrades apply immediately. Downgrades are scheduled for the next billing period.
