Being an Organization Teacher
If your school uses TeachersFlow as an organization, you sign up as an Organization Teacher rather than an individual. This page explains how org teacher accounts work and what is different from an individual account.
How You Get Access
You cannot sign up as an org teacher on your own. Your school's TeachersFlow admin must add your email address to the organization first. Once they have added it, go to app.teachersflow.com/auth, select Organization Teacher, choose your organization from the dropdown, and complete signup.
If you cannot find your organization in the dropdown or get an error, your email has not been added yet. Contact your admin.
What You Can Do
As an org teacher you can use the teacher app:
- Test grader - grade student tests from photos
- Assessment generator - create personalized formative assessments
- AI personalization - set default requirements for Flowee, Test grader, Assessment generator, and Lesson planner
- Teaching Goals - set and manage teaching objectives for subjects you can access
- Lesson planner - generate and save lesson plans
- Teaching materials - create your own materials and work with materials shared to assigned groups
- Activities - create and run quizzes, questionnaires, polls, and more
- Flowee - use the in-app AI assistant, subject to your organization's request pool
What Is Different from an Individual Account
Classes Are Managed by Your Admin
You can view the classes assigned to you, but you cannot create, rename, delete, or modify classes or add/remove students. You may also see only the subjects your admin assigned inside a class. All class, student, and subject-access management is done by your organization admin.
Your Limits Come from the Organization
You do not have your own subscription. Your AI requests come from the organization's shared request pool, so all teachers in the org draw from the same pool. Your activity limit is set by your admin, with 500 activities/month as the default.
Your individual usage is visible to your admin on the Overview page, but request quota belongs to the organization.
Access Depends on the Org Subscription
Your ability to sign in depends on your organization's subscription being active. If the org admin's payment fails or the subscription lapses, all org teachers are blocked from signing in until the admin resolves billing.
If Your Email Is Removed
If your admin removes your email from the organization, your account is suspended and you can no longer sign in. Your account is scheduled for deletion. If this was a mistake, ask your admin to re-add your email.
Account Settings as an Org Teacher
In Account Settings you can see your organization name, shared org request usage, and your personal activity usage. You can also configure AI personalization. Billing is handled by the org admin.
