Activity Types
TeachersFlow has five types of interactive activities. Students join via QR code or link — no account needed. You can monitor responses in real time and view results after the activity expires.
Quiz
Multiple choice, true/false, and checkbox questions with a correct answer defined by you. Time limits are optional. Results show individual scores and correct/incorrect breakdowns per question.
Best for: end-of-lesson knowledge checks, unit reviews, quick formative assessment of factual understanding.
Questionnaire
Open-ended or rating-scale questions where there is no single correct answer. Students respond in their own words or on a scale. You see all responses after the activity closes.
Best for: student self-assessment, collecting feedback on your lessons, understanding student perspectives on topics, gauging how students feel about the class.
Team Project
Students are split into teams and respond to project questions collaboratively. Supports both text responses and PDF file uploads. Each team submits one response per question.
Best for: group assignments, peer assessment, collaborative problem-solving, any task where you want teams rather than individuals to respond.
Anonymous Voting
Students vote on options without revealing their identity. You see the aggregate results but not who voted for what. Students can also see results (if you enable it) which makes it useful for discussion starters.
Best for: honest opinion gathering, quick consensus checks, sensitive topics where anonymity encourages honest responses, decision-making activities.
Keyword Collector
Students submit one or more short words or phrases in response to a prompt. Results typically display as a word cloud or list. Low pressure — no right or wrong answer.
Best for: activating prior knowledge at the start of a lesson, vocabulary brainstorming, gauging what students already associate with a new topic, warm-up activities.
